This insurance policy covers aircraft owners or operators against accidental damage or loss of an aircraft while the aircraft is in flight, taxiing (temporary halting of the aircraft), on the ground and/or moored. More comprehensive coverage may also include damage caused to airports, hangars, and other relevant land-based property, including Third party Liabilities arising from Injury or death to a passenger, damage to personal property passengers, damage to surrounding property where air crash is involved, including injury or death to person within such environment caused by the aircraft.
